She is emotionally drained and in the hospital. Her friends led by Jan Murray try to keep up the partying even in her room but eventually Anne calls it quits. Gillespe arranges for Kildare to go on a romantic weekend with Anne. He finally convinces her that she doesnt need these friends and can go on with her acting career with confidence. She gets involved in some of the patient's lives and problems, tries to help and is scolded by Kildare before he apologizes and realizes how good she really is.
